Poetry - Untitled

I've watched you

I've watched you grow

From nothing

Into everything before my eyes

You have endured a lot

From the sun nearly sourcing you to death

And clouds full of rain

From the sun beating down, clouds pouring rain, wind blowing you which and every way. I was always there.

I am a refuge

Place for you to find rest

When this world seems crazy

Look up and see me

Know that I’m here

Even on the nights when it may not be clear

I am still present, you have no reason to fear

I have always love you and always will

These days may seem scary but that is part of the thrill

Where you go from here is unknown

No need to worry you won't be alone

For no matter where you journey

And wherever you call home

Come nightfall if you look up

I will be here reciting this poem

Moon over a soybean field. Unadilla, Nebraska. Bryan's Property
